Poinsettia Ornament Kit

Poinsettias are an elegant addition to any holiday display, and these poinsettia buttons are no exception. This 3″ button is a version of a blumenknopf – a flower button, that is made over a silk covered button mold. The flower is made with needle lace techniques, and embellished with beads. This kit contains written instructions, a button mold, a piece of silk fabric, a piece of batting, a tapestry needle, thread in two colors, felt for the back, the beads and the needles – a hand sewing needle, a tapestry needle and a beading needle. Each kit will make one ornament.
