Workshops and Presentations

Many historical textile arts are now considered endangered, yet they continue to survive because makers like me actively preserve, study, and share them with today’s creative community. My ongoing research and regular advanced training mean that the range of classes I offer is always growing. I teach both online and in person, in settings that include historical sites, public libraries, guilds, and major conventions—bringing centuries‑old techniques to modern hands. Popular classes include button making, bobbin lace, crochet and making ribbon embellishments.

I also offer engaging presentations on historical textile arts, accompanied by curated displays of traditional tools and finished pieces for attendees to examine up close.
